Who And What We Treat

We specialize in the rehabilitation of injuries to every major joint, including the knee, ankle, shoulder, and elbow. We also provide rehabilitation to those individuals with work related injuries.

Our primary concern at Schenectady Regional Orthopedics is to return the patient to activities of daily living as soon as safely possible. It is also our goal to teach each patient how and why they were injured, and to prevent the injury from reoccurring. Special emphasis is placed on Home Exercise Programs (HEP). The HEP teaches the patients about strengthening and flexibility specific to their injury. It also gives detailed information on functional progressions and injury prevention. The HEP is very cost effective. It shortens the amount of formal physical therapy, saving the patient time and money.
