Melissa graduated from The State University of NY at Cobleskill with an Associates in Science degree in 1993. She received her Bachelor of Science from Russell Sage College in 1995. She completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the New Hampshire Musculoskeletal Institute in 1997. In August 2002 Melissa graduated from the Albany-Hudson Valley Physician Assistant Program.
